Ingredients :
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 ground beef patty
- 1 uncooked puff pastry
- a few olives
- 2 eggs
- four spices mix
Preparation :
- Chop the onion and sauté it until it is golden brown, then reserve on a plate. Sauté the ground meat in a pan and season with the four spices, salt and pepper.
- Add the sautéed onions and chopped tomato; simmer. Place an egg in the mixture and crumble it once it is hard-cooked.
- Once everything in the pan is cooked, remove it from the heat and add the crumbled hard-cooked egg and the pitted, quartered olives.
- Stir thoroughly. Cut the puff pastry into circles of 10 cm.
- Place some of the mixture in the centre of each circle. The idea is to form small turnovers in the shapes of half-moons. Place the turnovers on a baking sheet moistened with a mixture of water and olive oil. Crimp the turnovers to seal them along their edges using the prongs of a fork.
- Brush the turnovers with egg yolk so that they become golden brown when they bake.
