The eighteenth-century building was previously a meeting place for traders and fishermen. It has now been fully renovated. The Espaço Porto Cruz promotes the development of port, its history, the land from which it emerges, its founding figures and the variety of its wines.
The woman in black, the icon of the Cruz brand, has inspired many contemporary Portuguese artists, whose works are on permanent display in the exhibition space. An additional seasonal programme enlivens the cultural and artistic life of this place imbued with history.
In the tasting room, you can appreciate the secrets of port wine through a multi-sensory tasting session guided by a professional sommelier.
